August Bluetooth

Integrates August locks over Bluetooth into Home Assistant.

Following Assa Abloy, Yale’s parent company, purchasing August in 2017, most newer devices use the Yale Access branding.

Support for devices by August Bluetooth in Home Assistant is provided by the Yale Access Bluetooth integration.

August Bluetooth devices are either rebranded devices or devices that share a common communication protocol, making it possible to use them with the Yale Access Bluetooth integration.

Configuration

To add the August Bluetooth integration to your Home Assistant instance, use this My button:

Manual configuration steps

If the above My button doesn’t work, you can also perform the following steps manually:

  • Browse to your Home Assistant instance.

  • Go to Settings > Devices & Services.

  • In the bottom right corner, select the Add Integration button.

  • From the list, select August Bluetooth.

  • Follow the instructions on screen to complete the setup.
